In Australia, we are the most susceptible to strong UV rays so sunnies are a must here - not only to protect your eyes but to also prevent ageing around the eyes!! Quality is really important to me when it comes to sunnies to ensure that your eyes are properly protected. I've seen Quay Australia sunglasses in stores before but have never personally tried them They seemed to be great quality and had nice styles and colours to choose from so when they contacted me to try a pair I was more than happy to!
Quay Australia is an Australian brand that focuses on selling glasses that not only look great but are affordable as well. They not only sell a variety of sunglasses but also regular prescription glasses for both men and women. There are more than 30 styles to choose from which is great because it means there's a style for everyone out there! What's really great about the website is that there is an option for you to upload a photo online and virtually try on the different glasses to see what suits you.
For me, it was really hard to choose one style because they all looked super chic and wearable but I ended up going for the High Key range x Desi Perskins collaboration. It comes in 9 different shades and I went for the rose gold style. It's one of their most popular ranges featuring an oversized metal frame and reflective mirror lens for that chic look. I was worried that it's oversized frame wouldn't fit well on my Asian nose (which is relatively flat) but it has ample of support and sits well on my face.
The High Key sunglasses cost $75 AUD which is fantastic for the quality you get. The glasses itself are quite weighty so it feels luxurious and sturdy. The rest of the glasses on their website are also affordable, I believe most ranges are around $75. Shipping was really fast, I believe it arrived in a week. It came packaged in a small box with plastic wrapping and packing peanuts to protect the glasses. The glasses are also comes in a flat clear plastic case which you can use to hold and protect the lenses when you are putting them in your bag. But you also have the option to purchase different cases which are available on their website. Overall, I would highly recommend Quay Australia sunglasses because they are very affordable for good quality sunglasses and they have heaps of styles to choose from (and fit really well on Asian faces!).
Quay Australia has been extremely generous and provided me with a code to share with you guys so if you would like to purchase a pair for yourself you can score a 20% discount by entering FIFI20 in the discount bar at the checkout! Happy shopping everyone :)
